Available in 8 chip sizes ranging from 01005 to 1812, High CV X5R MLCC Series offers 8 voltage options of 4, 6.3, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, and 100 V. Capacitors are rated for operational temperatures from -55 to +85°C and exhibit ±15% temperature coefficient of capacitance. GREENVILLE, S.C. -- AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of passive components and interconnect solutions, has extended the capacitance range of its miniature High CV X5R MLCC Series. Available in eight chip sizes ranging from 01005 to 1812, voltage ratings for the series span 4V to 100V and capacitance values now span 100pF to 100µF. The miniature, high capacitance series also exhibits very low ESR and extremely high volumetric efficiency, which makes it ideal for decoupling and filtering applications in a broad range of mobile, medial, and digital electronics, including: cell phones, tablets, high-speed processors/FPGAs, and implantable medical devices.

Comprised of high-K dielectric materials, AVX’s High CV X5R MLCCs are rated for operational temperatures spanning -55°C to +85°C and exhibit a ±15% temperature coefficient of capacitance (TCC). Unspecified capacitance values and tolerance options beyond the standard ±10% and ±20% may be available upon request.
The series is available in eight chip sizes: 01005, 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, and 1812 and eight voltage options: 4V, 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 25V, 35V, 50V, and 100V. Chip sizes 01005, 1210, and 1812 require reflow soldering; all other chips are compatible with both reflow and wave soldering.
