Almit Launches High Strength, High Reliability SJ7 Mini Solder Bars

Almit Technology has unveiled the latest addition to its range of leading-edge solder materials. Engineered for high strength and high reliability, the SJ7 Mini Solder Bars build on the proven properties of the SJ7 solder alloy to deliver a convenient solution for manufacturers working in demanding environments.

The new SJ7 Mini Solder Bars are approximately 110mm long, 8mm wide and 5mm high, making the product an ideal size for use in small dipping pots and solder fountains. Delivering an excellent soldering performance for exceptional ease-of-use, the innovative solder bars yield reliable and repeatable results for high demand applications involving harsh environments, thermal cycling and high strain.

"Developed in response to feedback from our customers, the new SJ7 solder bars look set to prove a welcome addition to our range," explains Almit's Chris Ward. "The convenient size of the solder bars present manufacturers with greater flexibility - particularly useful when working with applications that will be subject to pressurised environments. The success of the SJ7 solder range is primarily down to the versatility and high reliability of the materials, a characteristic that is continued by the introduction of the new SJ7 Mini Solder Bars."

Almit SJ7 Mini Solder Bars are fully compatible with the solder specialist's popular SJ7 solder pastes and cored wires. Currently in use in today's challenging Automotive, Military and Aerospace industries, the SJ7 range offers manufacturers significant mechanical advantages over conventional tin-lead solders. Featuring improved tensile and creep strength, time to rupture, wetting capabilities and yield, this breakthrough solder technology is now being proven in use around the world.
