Model 4I72 quad type III Mini-PCI adapter allows use of 4 Mini-PCI cards such as IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN cards in PC/104-PLUS system. PCI bus bridge, which allows 1 PC/104-PLUS slot to be required, isolates MINI-PCI cards from system, allowing them to be used in systems with 5 V buses. On card jumpers are used to select which slot device occupies. Status LEDs are provided for slots and local regulator supplies 3.3 V power to slots.

NEW PRODUCT: 4I72 Quad MINI-PCI Adapter for PC/104-PLUS
The 4I72 is a quad type III Mini-PCI adapter for the PC/104-PLUS (PCI-ONLY) bus.
The 4I72 allows use of 4 Mini-PCI cards like IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN cards in a PC/104-PLUS system. The 4I72 uses a PCI bus bridge so that only one PC/104-PLUS 'slot' is required. The PCI bridge also isolates the Mini-PCI cards from the system, allowing MiniPCI cards to be used in systems with 5V busses.
On card jumpers are used to select which PC104-PLUS slot the 4I72 occupies. Status
LEDs are provided for the Mini-PCI slots, plus a connector is available for external LEDs. A local regulator supplies 3.3V power to the Mini-PCI slots. Price of the 4I72 is $108 in 100s.
