Larson Electronics Releases Mini Light Tower with High Power LED Lamps

Longtime developer and manufacturer of high grade lighting equipment Larson Electronics has announced today the release of an LED mini light tower built to provide high output in an easy to transport design. Featuring the latest in LED lighting technology and constructed of aluminum for high strength and light weight, the WALTP-CU12-4X150W-LED Quadpod Mini Light Tower is ideal for operators who need a durable and high output lighting system that can be easily deployed by a single person.

The Larson Electronics WALTP-CU12-4X150W-LED quadpod mini light tower provides high power light output from a light weight and easily transported tower assembly that can be deployed in minutes by a single person. This light tower features four of Larson Electronics’ heavy duty series of LED light bars, each producing 14,790 lumens for a combined total of 59,610 lumens of light output. The LED light bars on this tower feature Cree LEDs, heavy gauge extruded aluminum housings, and sealed polycarbonate lenses. These lamps are IP68 rated waterproof, and contain built in drivers that actively monitor voltage and heat to provide the highest output and longevity possible. These LED lamps use less power, yet produce light output comparable to HID tower systems, allowing Larson Electronics to construct a tower that is lighter, more durable, more reliable, and easier to transport and deploy. The tower assembly on this system is constructed of heavy gauge aluminum for high strength and light weight and can be elevated from 7 to 14 feet in height for effective coverage of larger work areas. A built in hand crank allows operators to easily extend and collapse the tower while a built in braking system prevents overly rapid or accidental collapse to improve safety. The base of this tower consists of four collapsible aluminum legs which provide better stability in windy conditions than traditional three leg tripod towers and is fitted with solid wheels to allow the user to simply tilt the entire assembly back and roll it into position. The lamp assembly can be removed from the tower mast and the entire unit can be broken down and the legs folded up, allowing operators to easily load and transport the unit from one location to the next. An included transformer is mounted to the base of the tower and allows operators to run the unit from standard 120-277 VAC electrical power. This heavy duty light tower is ideal for operators who require a portable yet powerful lighting system that can be easily deployed for fast and effective illumination of large areas.

“With the WALTP-CU12-4X150W-LED you can put those heavy ballast boxes associated with the metal halide light tower behind you,” said Rob Bresnahan with LarsonElectronics.com. “You can also stop worrying about replacing light heads and bulbs.  Finally, you don’t need to worry about vibration.  This LED light tower eliminates all those concerns.”

Larson Electronics produces a full range of industrial and commercial lighting equipment, HID work lights, portable work lights, light towers, and LED work lights.
