May 9, 2012 - Providing completely inert, non-metallic path for highly aggressive and/or high-purity fluids, Series 038T is suited for analytical chemistry and clinical diagnostic applications involving extremely low flow rates. Series includes bottom-ported Model 038T2B and side-ported Model 038T2S with -28 UNF threaded ports. Offering bi-directional flow, normally closed valves use custom-designed solenoid that consumes 2 W at 12 or 24 Vdc for minimal heat generation.

Highly efficient solenoid valve ensures minimal heat generation

Boonton, NJ - Bio-Chem Fluidics' new range of 038T Isolation Mini-Valves provides a completely inert, non-metallic path for highly aggressive and/ or high purity fluids. The valves are designed for use in analytical chemistry and clinical diagnostic applications involving extremely low flow rates.

The new range of Mini-Valves includes the 038T2B (bottom-ported) and 038T2S (side-ported) normally-closed valves with - 28 UNF threaded ports. 038T Mini-Valves use a custom designed, high efficiency solenoid that consumes only two watts at 12 or 24 VDC for minimal heat generation.

Fluid contact is restricted to the valve body and the flexible diaphragm, both constructed from highly inert polymers, allowing non-contact parts to be sourced economically from standard components. The valves offer bi-directional flow, and are also available in a manifold mount configuration.
