Logic Supply, a leading provider of small form factor system solutions, introduces the MV101 Automotive Mini-ITX chassis. Intelligently engineered to meet the demands of mobile or industrial environments, the MV101 is a durable, reliable, and easy-to-assemble enclosure for Mini-ITX-based systems. A variety of available internal mounting solutions and power supplies make the MV101 a versatile option for any industrial, automotive, and fleet computing applications.
Equally at home in gritty industrial environments or in the trunk of an off-road vehicle, the MV101 is constructed from 1.5 mm thick galvanized steel and is designed to be as compact and resilient as possible. Dual brackets allow for vertical or horizontal mounting, and are equipped with bidirectional keyways and DIN rail holes. Combined with the enclosure's small size, these mounting brackets allow it to be securely placed just about anywhere.
In addition to the standard rear I/O shield, the front panel allows for optional DB9 and USB ports. The enclosure is equipped with dual 40 mm ball-bearing fans. These are located behind a cleanable and replaceable air filter screen which provides maximum protection while ensuring adequate air flow and cooling.
Additional features include shock-absorbing rubber grommets, which protect the system's storage devices from vibration during movement and transport. Support for 4- or 8-pin power connectors, an Intelligent Automotive Power Supply featuring ignition sensing, and internal mounting for easy installation of wireless cards or other peripherals make integration with your vehicle simple and secure.
Rodney Hill, mechanical engineer at Logic Supply, explains what makes the MV101 stand out: "The MV101 employs best practice-design elements, integrating them into one durable and versatile package. The enclosure's unified construction makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications and usage environments without compromising industrial integrity or dimensions."
