July 21, 2004 - EchoTherm™ Model CB20 Constant Temperature Chilling/Heating Mini-Circulator is Peltier-based for heating and chilling and requires no compressors or CFCs. Temperature range is 4.0–70.0C, accurate to 0.1C. Settable in 1% increments, variable pumping range is 0–300 ml/min. Circulator includes transparent reservoir cover, 3/32 x 4 in. stainless steel platinum RTD probe, 3 ft cable, and RS232 I/O port for computer control or data logging.

New Mini-Circulator for Temperature Control of Small Volume Samples!!

San Marcos, CA…Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc. announces its NEW EchoTherm™ Model CB20 Constant Temperature Chilling/Heating Mini-Circulator for use with small volume sample holders like water jacketed cuvettes for spectrophotometers and electrophoresis baths.

The unit is Peltier based for heating and chilling and requires no compressors or CFC’s. It is lightweight, compact, and takes very little bench space. The CB20 has a temperature range from 4.0C to 70.0C accurate to 0.1C and readable/settable to 0.1C, and a variable pumping range from 0 to 300ml/minute settable in 1% increments. The reservoir volume is 1000 ml.

The CB20 comes complete with transparent reservoir cover, 3/32 inch diameter by 4 inch long stainless steel platinum RTD probe with 3-foot long cable (a 6-foot extension is available for reaching remote samples).

The unit comes complete with brass Swagelok fittings on the rear of the unit for 1/8” I.D. by ” O.D. plastic tubing, RS232 I/O port for computer control or data logging, universal power supply, AC line cord, one-year warranty, and user’s instructions. It has a footprint on the bench of 6.5” x 13.625”, and weighs 6.5 pounds. It is UL, CSA, and CE compliant.
