Hillsborough, New Jersey - June 2, 2008 - ZBA, Inc. (Hillsborough, NJ) introduces a new fixed mount CCD scanner in conjunction with their upcoming participation in the Medical Design Manufacturing (MDM) East Tradeshow at the Jacob Javits Center, New York on June 3rd through June 6th, 2008.
ZBA's ZB-30M Mini CCD Scan Module is ZBA's latest product announcement for OEM designers looking to incorporate high scan performance barcode capabilities into their latest products. This scanner is ideal for embedded applications including medical devices, portable terminals, gaming applications, and kiosks.
Being approximately the size of a matchbox, the ZB-30M is the world's smallest CCD scanner. Such a small form factor eliminates the historical constraints that OEM manufacturers labored with in the design of their products and enables numerous applications that would otherwise be difficult if not impossible to realize.
Additional features include mounting holes conveniently placed on the bottom for easy installation, a "test" button on top for external performance testing and the capability to make firmware changes easily and quickly as dictated by the needs of the application.
