Expanded Series of 45 Mini Ball Slides Feature Low Cost to Low Ratio

New Hyde Park, New York - An expanded series of 45 miniature ball slides introduced by Techno-Isel feature compact size plus moderately heavy load capacities of up to 205 lbs. These precision slides offer a straight line accuracy of .0005" per inch of travel, position repeatability of .0002", plus a low coefficient of friction. Typical applications include their use in computer disk drives, printers, plotters and copiers.

Built for reliability and endurance, these units, identified as the H11 Series, have an expected life of 10 million inches of travel at their rated load capacity and 100 million inches at 1/2 of their rated load capacity. A special feature is the built-in position stop to minimize shock even while operating at high cycling rates. The series includes the smallest commercially available slide which is .23" high and features a .38" X .75" working area and a 0.50" stroke. Hardened steel balls rolling between smooth hardened rods provide low starting and rolling friction for moving light and heavy loads. These long lasting ball bearings attract little dust and ride parallel to the rods for least friction.

Unit lengths range from .75" to 15" with stroke lengths ranging from 0.5" to 12". Work surface areas range from 0.38" X .75" to 2.62" X 15". Unit heights range from .023" to 1.00". Clear anodized Aluminum is used for the sliding work surface and rails, stainless steel for the end caps. All units are shipped completely assembled. Delivery is from Stock. Prices start at $69.93 in single unit quantity with OEM and higher quantity pricing offered.

Additional technical specifications are contained in Techno Bulletin H810 available free upon request from Techno-Isel, 2101 Jericho Turnpike, P.O. Box 5416, New Hyde Park, NY 11042-5416. Phone: 516-328-3970 Fax: 516-358-2576.
