North Haven, CT - IBAG North America announces the addition of a new, shorter and faster 22mm diameter "Micro Line" high speed milling and drilling spindle for Swiss turning applications. With a 63.3 mm length, the Model HT 25 S 60 is ideal for compact tool zones in the most popular Swiss Type machines. In addition, maximum spindle speeds of 120,000 utilizing oil type external cooling are now available for all Model HT 25 S 60 spindles. Utilizing synchronous, DC motor technology, these spindles suit machining applications involving micro-milling and drilling tools, as well as engraving and fine milling, these new, more compact spindles feature high rigidity and ultra precision (less then 2 microns run-out) to dramatically enhance surface quality, machining accuracy, and reduce the need for secondary operations
