The LabRAM ARAMIS IRČ High Performance Raman and FTIR Microscope Combined

HORIBA Jobin Yvon offers the latest in their series of combined Raman and FTIR Microscope systems. The LabRAM IRČ and LabRAM ARAMIS IRČ follow on from the award winning LabRAM IR. These new systems provide an expansive range of micro-analysis facilities on a single bench top instrument.

Features for the LabRAM ARAMIS IRČ include full FTIR and Raman mapping capabilities, made possible through the use of LabSPEC 5 software, which enables a complete 2D chemical image derived from both Raman and FTIR spectral information. SameSPOT(TM) technology ensures that optical, Raman and FTIR images are generated from the same sample position. The FTIR unit has improved imaging functions, smaller IR objectives for easier operation and automated aperturing for spatial filtering control. It can also be added as an upgrade to many existing LabRAM family Raman microscope systems.

The LabRAM ARAMIS IRČ is extremely well matched to analytical applications as it has complete system automation and control of laser selection, grating exchange, and imaging functions. The system can accommodate a range of temperature and humidity cells so that polarized light microscopy (PLM), Raman and FTIR can be used to study important applications such as pharmaceutical polymorphism and salt screening.

Further applications for the systems include nanotechnology, semiconductors, forensic science, museum conservation, polymer science, materials characterization and contamination analysis. A range of application notes are available, illustrating the power of Raman/FTIR micro-analysis for materials and chemical characterization.
