MicroLite® Announces New Full Spectrum Bulbs for FV1000 and FL1000 Microscope Lighting Systems

Three Rivers, Massachusetts, USA - Micro-Lite®, the world's leading supplier of microscope illumination sources, announces the availability of new Full Spectrum Lighting (FSL) bulbs, a critical feature for lead-free assembly and inspection applications, for its FV1000 and FL1000 microscope lighting systems.

Full spectrum light contains the entire range of visible wavelengths, so that all objects and the widest range of materials can be 'seen' optimally by the human eye when full spectrum light illuminates them; this is especially necessary for lead-free solder connections, which can be difficult to inspect for defects.

The FL-1000 Fluorescent Ring Illuminator features adjustable dimmer control intensity with no flickering, plus ESD safe construction. Its dimmable electronic ballast allows viewing of circuit boards, specimens and other critical applications at full intensity or reduced lumen output.

The Micro-Lite® Fully Variable FV-1000 microscope fluorescent lighting source features Micro-Lite's exclusive patented microchip controlled dimmable fluorescent technology. The FV-1000 features a convenient side mounted adjustment knob that lets the operator control the brightness precisely and simply to meet the requirements of the job and personal comfort level. Non-flickering high frequency operation allows photography and viewing through CCD cameras.

Micro-Lite® is the leading supplier of microscope illumination products, both fiberoptic and ring lights, and provides full spectrum lighting exclusively to the microscope lighting industry. Micro-Lite illumination products fit most microscopes and all Stereo-zoom based production microscopes on the market, both new and old, including: Nikon, Olympus, Unitron, Leica, Meiji, and Prolite® products.
