Lead Screw versions are available in 10, 30, and 40 mm travel lengths and feature 0.03 mm repeatability; 0.03 mm/full step resolution; 100 mm/sec max speed; and 4.9 N max load. Ball Screw versions come in 40, 60, 120, and 200 mm travel lengths and feature 0.01 mm repeatability; 0.02 mm/full step resolution; 120 mm/sec max speed, and 39.2 N max load.

Off-The-Shelf Micro-Positioning Stages Feature 0.01 mm Repeatability!
E. Longmeadow, MA - New! Ready-to-run, compact, low cost, high quality, micro-positioning stages, from LM76, Inc., are now available "Off-the-Shelf" in travel lengths from 10 mm to 200mm. These Micro Stage linear positioning stages are available with 6 mm lead anti-backlash lead screws or 4 mm lead heavy duty ball screws. They are ideal for: pick-and-place, assembly, sampling, testing, robotics, and other precision positioning applications.
The Lead Screw Micro Stage linear positioning stages are available in three travel lengths, 10 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. Features include: 0.03 mm repeatability, 0.03 mm/full step resolution, max speeds of 50, 80, 100 mm/sec., and the max load for all lead screw stages is 4.9 N (0.5 kgf).
The Ball Screw Micro Stage positioning stages are available in four travel lengths, 40 mm, 60 mm, 120 mm, and 200 mm. Features include: 0.01 mm repeatability, 0.02 mm/full step resolution, max speed 120 mm/sec., and the max load for all ball screw stages is 39.2 N (4.0 kgf).
The standard 28 mm stepping motor can be micro-stepped and it also can be supplied with an optional encoder for closed loop operation. These Micro Stage linear positioning stages have stainless steel way covers, and these light weight stages can also be mounted vertically (z-axis). Optional End-of-Travel limit switches are easily adjustable. On the LM76 Web site (http://www.lm76.com) 2D and 3D CAD drawings can be downloaded for easy integration of the positioning stages into new and existing applications.
