Magdos LT - Solving The Power Consumption Issue
November, 2007 Rochester, NY - Lutz-JESCO America Corp. is pleased to announce the introduction of the MAGDOS LT, a new solenoid-driven diaphragm dosing pump. The MAGDOS LT line of solenoid driven metering pumps combines state-of-the-art microprocessor technology with durable, high quality mechanics in chemical resistant materials to make them suitable for many municipal and industrial applications.
The MAGDOS LT was developed to solve a well-known and common problem in metering technology: uncontrolled power consumption and all the negative side effects associated with this power consumption. The MAGDOS LT incorporates a state-of-the-art microprocessor which optimizes the pump's power consumption, based on the required back pressure.
The advantages of this enhanced technology are obvious:
Reduced energy consumption
Reduction in both noise level and excess heat
Longer lifetime and higher resistance levels
Operating temperatures up to 113ºF/45ºC (depending on materials used)
The overall effect is the high cost efficiency of the MAGDOS LT. The pump is particularly well suited for water-/wastewater treatment and industrial processes. However, due to features like the manual and step-less stroke length adjustment with a 5:1 turndown ratio, manual speed control to set the pump at 25%, 50%, and 100% of its maximum stroke frequency, and adjustable overload protection for various pressure levels, the pump is suitable for virtually all requirements of home water supply. Double-ball valves hereby ensure the highest accuracy even at the smallest flow rates.
The MAGDOS LT has a capacity range from 0.03 to 4.49 gph, with pressures up to 232 psig. Due to its hermetically sealed design, the pump is suitable for both toxic and aggressive media.
