Mechanical stop prevents lamp from being turned too far. Simulating daylight color temperature of 6,000°K, lamp features solid nickel contacts, arc gap of 5 mm, and CRI greater than 85. Bayonet mounting system is comprised of lamp base and holder for halogen lamps as well as quartz and ceramic discharge lamps.

Osram Announces the Release of Lok-It!® Lamp
Entertainment Lighting Manufacturer Introduces the First in a Series of Lok-it! Twist-lock Lamps
Las Vegas, Nev. (October 24, 2008) - OSRAM is pleased to announce the HTI® 1500W/60/P50 Lok-it!® single-ended, short-arc metal halide turnkey lamp. This is the first in a series of Lok-it! plug and play lamps with a PGJX50 base. It is the perfect solution for all discharge fixtures with PGJX50 lampholders capable of operating at 1200 to 1500 watts.
Lok-it concept:
The Lok-it! lamp is based on versatility and reliability. The fundamental mounting principle is a bayonet system, which is comprised of the lamp base and holder for halogen lamps as well as for quartz and ceramic discharge lamps, making handling particularly easy. Lok-it! allows for easy and safe lamp replacement within seconds with just one turn. Simply insert, give the lamp a quarter turn and it is locked in position and accurately aligned. A mechanical stop prevents the lamp from being turned too far. Whether the specific application demands high efficiency, an extra long service life or maximum color rendering - Lok-it! provides the right solution for any stage show.
