Tampa, Florida, September 17, 2007- Mettler-Toledo Safeline, Inc., the worldwide leader in metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment, introduces the new PowerPhasePLUS RB metal detector for inspection of bulk products. This new detector, with Safeline's advanced coil technology, has a wide aperture that is well suited for bulk bags - yet can also inspect any dry, wet, loose or packed bulk product.
Safeline's patented core technology provides unparalleled levels of sensitivity on bulk products including bags, sacks, cartons, and loose bulk products. Built on the PowerPhase software platform, the PowerPhasePLUS RB finds even the most difficult to detect non-magnetic stainless steel and fine wire contaminants.
The system's design allows for easy integration into bulk processing and packaging lines and the user interface is very easy to operate through a robust, menu-driven membrane key panel.
The PowerPhasePLUS RB is available in single and dual frequencies with a choice of sealing standards and finishes. It also has an optional Ethernet adapter for network connectivity allowing for real-time data collection which can be integrated into leading factory management systems. Remote settings and process analysis, as well as signaling of warnings and events are easily managed.
