Custom designed, thermoformed plastic trays that can be engineered and produced to fit virtually any medical or surgical device are being intro-duced by Sonolite Plastics Corporation of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Sonolite Medical Specialty Trays are thermoformed in a wide range of sizes from standard and eco-friendly materials and are custom designed to match production and packaging requirements. These open face trays can include special features such as symbols and engraved lettering or part numbers, undercuts and locating detents for nesting and stacking, compatible inserts, various types of snap-lids, and other customer specified characteristics.
Capable of meeting design challenges presented by odd-shaped or distinctive devices and components, including custom cavities matched to the part, sealed packaging, and other requirements, Sonolite Medical Specialty Trays can be developed from a customer supplied part. They can be made in 1" sq. up to 48" x 72" sizes in gauges from 0.010" to 0.375" from materials such as styrene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, ABS, ABS anti-stat, PET, and PETG.
