Olympus Medical Systems to Launch Supporting System for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography
Tokyo - On May 26, Olympus Medical Systems (TSE: 7733) will bring to market the V-System, a supporting system for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). The V-System consists of the JF TYPE 260V, a duodenal videoscope, LinearGuide V, a disposable guidewire, and endotherapy devices.
The system facilitates the exchange of therapeutic devices in the ERCP procedures. It helps reduce time required for the procedures and alleviates the burdens of medical professionals.
The new product will be unveiled at the 69th Annual Meeting of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society to be held in Tokyo.
