Windsor, Connecticut - August 9, 2006.... Scapa Medical has introduced Bioflex' Rx1195P, a synthetic non-woven adhesive tape designed to provide superior adhesion to the skin for long-term wear. Conformable, lightweight and comfortable, the product may be used for medical device attachment, specialty skin applications and bandages.
Bioflex' Rx1195P is composed of a tan synthetic non-woven, single coated with an aggressive medical- grade acrylic adhesive, and supplied with a white 42# kraft release liner. The product has passed primary skin irritation, cytotoxicity, and skin sensitization product safety testing and does not contain latex proteins.
