Designed to convert 10/100Base-TX Ethernet signals to 100Base-FX fiber, iCON-32900 series converter accepts voltage range from 12-48 Vdc. Features include Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function which allows tracing network link failure; 2 redundant power inputs for non-stop operation; and relay output alarm. Offered in IP20 aluminum housing, unit meets NEMA TS1/2, UL1604, and UL60950 standards for harsh environments and can be DIN-rail-, rack-, or panel-mounted.

February 12, 2009- AXIOMTEK's iCON-32900 series is industrial-grade converter designed to convert Ethernet network signals (10/100Base-TX) to fiber network signals (100Base-FX). The iCON-32900 series can work from -40 to 75°C and accepts a wide voltage range from +12 to 48 VDC. To enhance system reliability, the converters offer "Link Fault Pass Through" feature, redundant power, and relay output alarm. Besides, the iCON-32900 series also meets NEMA TS1/2, UL1604 and UL60950 standard to guarantee reliable operations in harsh, industrial environments. The iCON-32900 series applies high quality components with advantages of wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 75°C) and long MTBF. The IP20 aluminum housing helps dissipate heat efficiently, allowing system to operate under extremely high temperature conditions.
Certified for harsh environments: NEMA TS1/2, UL1604 & UL60950
The iCON-32900 series meets NEMA TS1/2 standard for traffic control equipment, UL 1604 safety standard for hazardous environment of explosive or flammable conditions, and UL60950 standard for information technology equipment. These certification and approvals ensure the converters work reliable and safe in industrial applications, such as building automation, oil field automation, factory automation, and ITS.
Redundant power input
The iCON-32900 series is equipped with two redundant power inputs which guarantee non-stop operation. The backup power input will take over immediately when the primary DC power input fails.
Relay output alarm for power failure and port break
The iCON-32900 series provides one relay output which can be set up to identify events when power fails or port breaks. So the administrator can follow the appropriate maintenance procedures of emergency to respond high priority warning messages efficiently.
Supports Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) function
The iCON-32900 series comes with Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP) for easily tracing the network link failure. LFP function can force the link to shut down as soon as it notices that the other link has failed, giving the application software a chance to react.
