Cleveland, OH: May 31, 2006 - Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE:AIT) has announced the availability of its new General Mechanics Tool Kits (GMTK) from Craftsman®. These high-quality tool kits include more than 150 individual tools and were specifically designed for military personnel.
The heavy-duty tool chest is portable and includes a telescoping handle, side handles and wheels for easy stowing in military vehicles. Foam formed tool holders keep tools in place and provide quick identification of missing tools. The kits also include a locking personal security compartment.
The industrial hand tools include a complete set of ¼", 3/8" and ½" drive ratchets, extensions and sockets for SAE and metric sizes, as well as combination, open and box end wrenches, a complete screwdriver set, digital multimeter, plus many other bars, pliers, punches, files and more.
The GMTK is available on GSA Contract in two model types; the 9-1010 and the 9-1011 with Multi-Capable Maintainer's components. The 9-1011 includes all tools from the standard GMTK plus additional sizes of sockets, wrenches and pliers. The tool chest for each kit measures 24" L x 15" W x 18" H and includes removable drawers.
