While Figure 985 fits trapeze-style hangers or single pipe hangers and comes in 3/8-5/8 in. and ¾-7/8 in. hanger rod sizes, Figure 986 is offered in standard ½ in. rod size and designed to be upper or structural attachment.

TOLCO Introduces New Mechanical "Fast Clamp" Attachment for Seismic Bracing
CORONA, Calif. -- (May 5, 2009) - TOLCO introduces its newest addition to the TOLCO seismic line - the mechanical "Fast Clamp" attachment. TOLCO's Fast Clamp offers 12" of overall adjustment, allowing a rough-in style installation and taking the guess work out of cut lengths.
The unique "Fast Attach" yoke design provides for easy installation to multiple hanger rod sizes, allowing distributors to reduce the number of SKUs they carry. The designer/installer also benefits because fewer attachment types are necessary for any particular job.
The Fast Clamp is available in two options: Figure 985 and Figure 986. The FIG 985 fits either trapeze-style hangers or single pipe hangers and is available in two sizes: (1) 3/8" - 5/8" hanger rod size and (2) ¾" - 7/8" hanger rod size. The FIG 986 comes in a standard ½" rod size (consult factory for other sizes), and is designed to be the upper or structural attachment.
TOLCO-engineered break-off bolt heads visually verify required installation torque - no torque wrenches required! Plus, the FIG 985 has two bolts and the FIG 986 has only one, all of which have the same hex head size - this means only one tool is required to install a brace assembly.
