KOMPAS-3D v10 SP2 provides framework for 3D solid parametric modeling, 2D drafting, and documentation design/release. Add-ons and libraries offer additional features, such as photo rendering, animation, kinematic and dynamic analysis, pipe and tube design, and CAD/AEC/PLM integration. With included Drawing Checker application, users can check KOMPAS documents - drawings, fragments, sketchers - for layout errors. Converter also supports 3D models of PCBs (IDF format) from eCAD.

Also was increased functionality in converter of 3D-models of printed circuit boards (IDF format) from an eCAD - for editing a 3D-model of the board obtained through IDF-formats having replacing conditional models of components with realistic ones, now mass of the board with components can be calculated.
