Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces its rackmount Model 9448 RJ45 A/B Switch that is certified Cat5E Compliant. This switch, rated for 10/100/1000 Base-T networks, fits perfectly in a standard 19" rack. Rerouting data between two networks is as simple as a flip of the switch. The unit supports all 8 pins of the RJ45 Cat5e interface. The switch is transparent to data format.
The reliable Model 9448 incorporates a high-quality sealed switch with self-wiping precious metal contacts. This sturdy switch has an all aluminum enclosure specifically designed to be EMI/RFI interference resistant in noisy environments. With the Model 9448 there is no need to plug and unplug cables, eliminating connector wear. No external power is required.
