Schleuniger, Inc. to Exhibit Wire Processing Solutions at The Assembly Show

Schleuniger to Feature Machines Networked with New S.WOP Software

Schleuniger, Inc., a leading international manufacturer of high-precision wire processing machines, will be exhibiting at The Assembly Show, an assembly focused trade show aimed at helping suppliers, buyers and users of assembly equipment in manufacturing plants connect, learn, share and explore all things assembly. Now in its second year, this exclusive showcase will be held October 28th through 30th 2014 at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Schleuniger will be at booth #233 providing hands-on demonstrations of innovative solutions for stripping, cutting, crimping and marking all types of wire and cable as well as software for production control and optimization.

New this year, Schleuniger will be demonstrating S.WOP (S.oftware for Wire Optimized Production). S.WOP manages the planning and monitoring of all wire processing machines in a factory. S.WOP extracts data from an order management system, optimizes orders according to the most efficient production workflow, and assigns them to individual machines. By controlling and monitoring the entire wire processing operation over a local network with S.WOP, productivity and quality are greatly increased. Administrative work, WIP, inventory, lead times and overall costs are also reduced. At the trade show, several Schleuniger machines will be networked with S.WOP, allowing attendees to experience its powerful capabilities first-hand.

In addition, Schleuniger will showcase its newest coax cable stripper, the SemiRigid 1050. This highly specialized machine for stripping aluminium or copper jacketed semi-rigid coaxial cables features a user-friendly, high-resolution color touchscreen interface and intuitive programming. The SemiRigid 1050 offers the precision and flexibility needed to process valuable semi-rigid coaxial cable at the highest possible quality.

The economic EcoStrip 9300 cut and strip machine, the perfect solution for a wide range of materials, will also be demonstrated. The EcoStrip 9300 will be shown with Schleuniger’s industry proven high-speed inkjet printer for wire marking and the PreFeeder 1100, benchtop prefeeding machine, to create an entry level, fully automated processing line, available at a very attractive price! Speak with a wire processing expert at the Schleuniger booth for further details.

Many additional products will be demonstrated including the MicroGraph crimp quality system, CrimpCenter 36 S, CT 36, EcoCut 3200, MegaStrip 9650, OmniStrip 9450, PowerStrip 9550, RotaryStrip 2400, StripCrimp 200 and UniCrimp 200 as well as equipment from the UniStrip line of wire stripping machines and CoaxStrip line of coaxial cable stripping machines.

All attendees that stop by the Schleuniger booth and take a product tour will be entered into a raffle for a Leupold GX-3i Golf Range Finder.
