Three 9 W, 5,000 K compact fluorescent lamps provide 27 W of light from top and both sides of magnifier, or 18 W of side-to-side lighting. Three-diopter, fully rotational magnifier lens provides precise positioning to eliminate glare. Spring-loaded base and arm allow light adjustment.

Presenting the “ESD Safe” Omnivue Magnification Light From Waldmann Lighting
Wheeling, Ill—Waldmann Lighting debuts their newest ESD Safe magnification light, the ESD Omnivue. This luminaire uses conductive coatings and static dissipative materials and coatings, which eliminate electrostatic discharge. The illuminated magnification light was designed for ESD electronic assembly and inspection areas to help maintain the effectiveness of ESD control programs.
All plastic luminaire parts are manufactured with static dissipative materials. The optical quality glass magnifier has a multi-layer conductive coating, and all steel parts are coated with static dissipative varnish. The lamp diffuser uses a tin oxide conductive coating.
The ESD Omnivue uses three 9-watt, 5000K compact fluorescent lamps which provide two light levels: 27 watts (1800 lumens) of light from the top and both sides of the magnifier, or 18 watts (1200 lumens) of side-to-side lighting. Both light levels are available with a simple touch of a three-way switch.
A 3-diopter fully rotational magnifier lens, treated with conductive coatings, provides precise positioning. This helps to eliminate glare from overhead lighting and creates less eye, neck and back strain which increases worker productivity. An ESD “Add-X” lens is available that increases magnification up to 7 diopters.
Other ergonomic features of the ESD Omnivue include a spring-loaded base and arm for precise light adjustment, and a longer 43” arm reach (standard arm reach is 35”) for extended length ESD area applications.
All Waldmann magnification lights include an industrial-grade clamp and 10-year warranty, and all models are UL and CUL listed. Several mounting options including a 1/2” pin mount for production workstations and weighted table base are available.
