June 26, 2002 - Non-jamming, beltless slide conveyors have non-moving 304 stainless steel bed. Magnet assemblies under bed move small and large scrap, awkwardly shaped parts and scrap, and finished parts such as nuts and bolts. Sealed oil bath continuously lubricates all moving parts and drive train components for minimal maintenance and longer service. All moving parts are completely enclosed.

Beltless Magnetic Slide Conveyors for Stamping Parts & Trim Scrap
Storch Magnetics (Booth D-4784) will display its magnetic slide conveyors, featuring an upgraded design and construction innovations that enhance the systems' reliability, safety, and low, virtually maintenance-free operation. The non-jamming slide conveyors are ideal for conveying small and large scrap or awkward shape formed parts and scrap, and can be used for moving finished parts such as nuts and bolts to process stations.
The new design features a sealed oil bath that continuously lubricates all moving parts and drive train components for long service and minimal maintenance requirements. Precision construction means the unit is also sealed - liquid tight - to eliminate wear and tear on components from contaminates. In addition, because all moving parts are completely enclosed, safety is improved. Storch magnetic slide conveyors can also increase operational uptime because, unlike hinge conveyors which can become jammed or belts that may tear, the slide conveyor has a non-moving stainless steel bed for parts or scrap material. The magnet assemblies under the 304 stainless steel slider plate move sharp, troublesome scrap or scrap are slid along to a dump box or hopper. Standard conveyor design or custom configurations are available.
The company will demonstrate its various models of Magnetic Floor Sweepers that keep work areas cleaner by picking up metal debris and parts. Visitors to the booth will be entered to win one of three Sweep-Ease models to be given away. Also exhibited will be many magnetic products for both OEM's and end users.
