March 31, 2008 - Available with or without LEDs, Magnetic Jacks offer current ratings of 1.5 A and voltage ratings of 150 Vac. RJ45 connectors are most commonly used for 10/100 and 1000Base-T Ethernet applications. Additional uses include networking routers, switching hubs, set-top boxes, printers, and networking adapters/LAN cards.

FCI Expands Magnetic Jacks to the RJ45 Portfolio


ETTERS, PA. (March 24, 2008) - FCI, a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect
systems, is expanding its RJ45 portfolio to include a magnetic jacks product offering. This new addition suits a wide range of equipment including entertainment, home and small business networking and enterprise networking needs including networking routers/
switching hubs, set-top boxes, printers and networking adapters/ LAN cards.

"The magnetic jack connectors are designed to accommodate today's demand for highspeed
communication applications, said Alex Liang, responsible Product Manager at FCI.
The RJ45 connectors are most commonly used for 10/100 and 1000Base-T ethernet
connections. The jacks with current ratings of 1.5A and voltage ratings of 150V AC are
available with or without LEDs.
