Original Press Release:

New High Efficiency MAG Drive Pumps

Erie, PA -May 15, 2008 - Finish Thompson Inc. announces new models within the DB Series premium magnetic drive pump line. The DB22 models operate with high efficiency and have broad hydraulic coverage. High working pressure capabilities up to 90 psi (6.2 bar) allow high specific gravity fluids to be pumped safely. Maximum flow rates for these new models reach 220 gpm (50 m3/hr) with discharge heads to 200 feet (61 m). The DB22 models are backed by the same exceptional 5-year warranty as previous models.

DB Series mag drive pumps are molded from corrosion resistant GF Polypropylene or CF PVDF. A ductile iron motor adapter provides added strength and easily mounts to NEMA or IEC frame motors. DB22 models are available with open or closed impellers and with NPT or BSP threaded, flanged or union connections. They exhibit exceptional run-dry capability (with a carbon bushing), which minimizes costly repairs and production downtime. All models are CE rated and ATEX versions are available.

The DB Series magnetic drive pumps offer premium performance at a low cost of operation and are ideally suited to transfer of aggressive chemicals and corrosive environments.
