New Magnet On The Block!

The new Strong Hand Modular Magnetic Blocks will make their debut at the Charlotte South Tec 2002 show!

These compact, yet extremely powerful rare earth neodymium magnet blocks are ideal for use in fixturing, lifting and holding steel parts, and safely cleaning up iron and steel chips.
The blocks are available in 3 sizes, with pull forces of 50 lbs. to 200 lbs.

Equipped with an ON/OFF switch for safety and ease-of-use, the magnetism can be turned off during set-up, then turned on whenever the user is ready. The ON/OFF switch eliminates the problem of finger crimping, and when stored in the OFF position, won't pick up stray pieces of steel that may be in the work area, and, most importantly, the smart switchable feature makes it easy to separate the workpiece from the magnet. In the past, it was difficult to separate a workpiece from a strong magnet, but the Strong Hand "switch off" feature solves that problem! The user simply turns to the OFF position, and the workpiece easily slides off.

A mounting plate accessory is also available. The magnet block has eight threaded holes on adjacent surfaces. Using these holes, the mounting plate can be bolted onto the magnet to mount to any fixture in different positions.
