"All-FRP," Non-Metallic, Close-Coupled Sealless Pump

The tremendous success of the industry's first completely non-metallic fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) magnet-drive pump has led Fybroc to further expand its 2530 Series line beyond the recently introduced 4x6x13 size to now also include a 4x6x10 pump size. This FRP (continuous strand) thermoset construction design features a one-piece reinforced casing with NO SEPARATE LINERS. Designed utilizing state-of-the-art magnets, the latest silicon carbide shaft and sleeve bearing materials, and vinyl ester, vinyl ester with BPO-DMA cure system, or epoxy resin wetted parts, the Series 2530 provides excellent corrosion resistance against acids, bleaches, caustics, solvents, seawater, brine and hundreds of other difficult services.

The Series 2530 pump is now available in ten sizes with capacities up to 1500 GPM (350 m3/hr), heads to 400 feet (125 m), powers to 100 HP (75 kw), temperatures to 200°F (93°C) and working pressures to 200 PSI (1,380 kPa). Self-priming models also available with capacities up to 300 GPM (70 m3/h) and heads to 200 feet (65 m).

Other features include a low pressure FRP containment shell, pressurized bearing lubrication, closed impeller design, a separate, two-piece impeller and magnet arrangement, and ASME/ANSI B73.1 installation dimensions.
