January 8, 2009 - Featuring dual nests for clamps and insulators, Stabilizer Bar Assembly, Inspection, and Gaging Machine includes 2 assembly presses and 2 camera Keyence vision systems to verify correct insulators presence and orientation prior to assembly. Keyence laser micrometer verifies correct bar OD before continuing assembly, while bar code scanner verifies correct part number label on bars prior to final release. PLC controls all machine functions.

Stabilizer Bar Assembly & Inspection


Cincinnati Automation releases a 2nd generation Stabilizer Bar Assembly, Inspection and Gaging machine designed for a range of part numbers. The system includes dual nests for clamps & insulators along with a custom designed bar nest. Also included are two assembly presses and a 2 camera Keyence vision system programmed to verify correct insulators presence and orientation prior to assembly. A Keyence laser micrometer is used to verify correct bar OD before continuing assembly. A bar code scanner verifies correct part number label on bars prior to final release. A PLC controls all machine functions and an 8" color touch screen HMI displays status and inspection results.
