Suited for industrial automation applications, M8 and M12 Connectors are available in panel mount, cordset, and patchcord styles. Units feature fully potted housing for harsh environments, as well as snap and threaded couplers and various pole configurations. Polypropylene premold protects and encapsulates all electrical connections, while final mold, available in PVC, TPR, and TPE, can be designed with strain relief to prevent cable damage.

The M8 and M12 connectors are durable connectors usually seen in harsh industrial and commercial environments more specifically in industrial automation. There are various styles ranging from but not limited to panel mounts, cordsets and patchcords.
The M8 and M12 features and benefits can include fully potted housing which is designed to withstand harsh environments while maintaining the connector's performance. In addition there are snap and threaded couplers and various pole configurations which provide a wide variety of options to meet a customer's specific needs.
While these connectors are designed to withstand rough environments there is an additional process to make this connector even more rugged; this is through the process of injection overmolding. Through the process of overmolding you add structure with a polypropylene premold that is designed to protect and encapsulate all electrical connections. This is followed with a final mold which can be done in a variety of resins such as PVC, TPR and TPE. The final mold can be designed to have a strain relief portion that provides added flexibility and prevents cable damage as well as adding customization with a logo or unique color.
