February 2, 2009 - Including full plastic contact body design, 768 M8 connectors feature cross wire section of 0.34 mm˛ (AWG 22), and are available with 3 and 4 gold-plated contacts. They are fully mating-compatible with other M8 connectors, including cordsets and front- and rear-mounted panel receptacles. When properly mated, mated pair is IP67-rated, protecting connection from ingress of liquids and debris. Shielding options are offered providing protection from electromagnetic interference.

M8 Connectors with Solder Contacts


CAMARILLO, CA-Binder-USA has extended its M8 field-attachable connectors with an option of solder termination for both metal and plastic versions. The connectors now include a full plastic contact body design. These Series 768 M8 connectors are ideal for automation sensor applications.

All M8 connectors are available with 3 and 4 gold-plated contacts. When properly mated, the mated pair is IP67-rated, protecting the connection ingress of liquids and debris. The cross wire section has been enlarged from 0.25mm˛ (AWG 24) to 0.34mm˛ (AWG 22) to accommodate cables with larger wire sizes. Shielding options are offered providing excellent protection from electromagnetic interference. The M8 connectors are fully mating-compatible with other Binder-USA M8 connectors, including cordsets and front- and rear-mounted panel receptacles.
