Transmitting voice and data, it can be concealed inside vehicle, be used externally, or embedded in instrument panels. Unit is weather resistant with IP-67 Ingress Protection rating and can be mounted on ground plane or non-ground plane surface. It suits fleet logistics, tracking, diagnostics, theft protection, asset recovery, and navigation and infotainment systems.

Laird Technologies Releases New Asset Tracking External World Band GSM/GPS Antenna


High-performance, Low-profile Antenna Supports GPS, AMPS, GSM, PCS and DCS Bands

St. Louis, Missouri, USA - Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced the release of its new asset tracking World cellular and GPS band antenna.

The World antenna is a high-performance cellular and GPS antenna that supports AMPS, GSM, PCS and DCS bands and is ground plane independent. This cost-effective antenna transmits voice and data while providing superior RF performance versus any comparable antenna on the market.

Providing low total-cost implementation and easy installation, the antenna's compact form factor is suited for concealed applications inside of a vehicle, but can also be used externally. Multiple mounting options allow the sleek, durable housing to be mounted on either a ground plane or non-ground plane surface. It is ideal for fleet logistics, tracking, diagnostics, theft protection, asset recovery, and navigation and infotainment systems.
