Low Noise Amplifier Delivers High Linearity Over Wide Bandwidths

July 29, 2005

A new low noise amplifier has been designed to not only deliver an extremely low noise figure but also have high gain and a high intercept point across a very wide frequency band. These amplifiers can be used in a variety of applications including communication suites, TV, high performance receivers, and ultra-low noise RF Front-Ends. The HILNAV1 has a typical gain of 20 dB and operates in a usable frequency range of 50 MHz to 1.5 GHz. Input to the device is 5 to 30 VDC with an internal regulator. Additionally, reverse voltage protection is included in the design. These amplifiers achieve a typical third intercept point of +32 dBm.

These unique low noise amplifiers are housed in an extruded aluminum enclosure with an option for mounting flanges built in. Even more, the HILNAV1 is available in an OEM sub-assembly (board only) version with mounting holes.

Pricing starts at $149.
