SmartLocker Offers A Single Security Solution

SmartLocker® is a managed locker solution from Penco Products that utilizes computerized identification technology to grant or restrict access to lockers in a manner consistent with the operational policies of owners and administrators of the lockers. The system can be designed to have lockers assigned to individuals on a permanent or temporary basis. Lockers are networked via computer to a central administrative office, where usage can be monitored and access controlled. Password protected Administration Software has control of locker operating parameters and access. The software contains records of electronic locker locations and users. Reassigning of lockers and access can be done almost instantly by the system software.

The system provides convenience for users. One ID card can be integrated into many existing functions. A school ID card can be used for building access, attendance, library card, or a lunch program. In the workplace, the card can be used for building access, time keeping, and locker access. Card readers can be mounted discreetly in walls or filler panels and placed for maximum user convenience. The latest innovation from Penco is their SmartLocker-based tool storage system designed specifically to monitor and control access to equipment. It is ideal for industrial and service center applications.
