NEMA 4X Multipurpose Lockable Enclosure
STI's super tough, see-through polycarbonate enclosure offers excellent protection and an option of immediate or authorized access to protected device. Ideal for use when installing fire alarm control panels outdoors, the Protective Cabinet guards against vandalism, either accidental or intentional, as well as dirt, windblown dust and rain.
For convenience, two enclosure models are available; the STI-7520 is secured with a key lock and the STI-7521 is secured with a thumb lock. Either lock can help deter wrongful users away from the unit. The internal dimensions for the unit are: 10.875 in. H x 8.875 in. W x 3.625 in. D (276mm x 225mm x 92mm).
To further protect against misuse, vandalism, and accidental damage, STI offers an optional piercing horn alarm and/or strobe light to protect the unit (STI-7522 or STI-7524 for indoor use only). The alarm does not interfere with legitimate usage of the protected device. Cabinet is also available in a heated model (STI-7520-HTR or STI-7521-HTR).
The enclosures mount on the wall enabling control panels to be protected in their designated location. Mounting hardware is included and tamperproof mounting screws are available. The polycarbonate is backed by a lifetime guarantee against breakage in normal use.
