July 29, 2003 - Series ML-1100 Mortise Lock and Pull System is available in 2 models offering 650 and 1,000 lb holding forces. All hardware is totally concealed with tamper-proof mounting. Pull handles can be supplied in dark bronze and satin black anodized finishes as well as polished brass, satin brass, polished chrome, or satin chrome plated finishes. Optional dual magnetic bond sensors detect improper armature mating or lack of sufficient power to provide rated holding force.

Dortronics System Introduces New Mortise Lock & Pull System
ML-1100 Series Available With 650 or 1000 Pound Holding Force
Sag Harbor, NY (July 16, 2003) - Dortronics Systems, Inc. has added a new mortise lock and pull system to its continually growing line of door control systems. The new ML-1100 Series Mortise Lock and Pull System is available in two models offering 650 pound (model ML-1106) and 1000 pound (model ML-1100) holding forces. The units feature clean architectural appearance and are manufactured to Dortronics'exacting standards to deliver the highest levels of quality and reliability.
"Dortronics new ML-1100 Series Mortise Lock and Pull System allows the force of the magnet to be directly opposite the direction of the pull, which eliminates the possibility of 'racking' the door, as often occurs with header mounted magnetic locks," said John FitzPatrick, Vice President, Dortronics Systems, Inc. "All of the unit's locking hardware is totally concealed with tamper proof mounting to deliver the highest levels and aesthetics."
The ML-1100 Series Mortise Lock and Pull System, and DPA Series Pull Handle are the ideal complement for a wide range of applications where aesthetics are a concern such as vestibules and lobby entrances. The pull handles can be supplied in dark bronze and satin black anodized finishes as well as polished brass, satin brass, polished chrome or satin chrome plated finishes. The pull handles can also be custom engraved.
To assure uninterrupted operation, the ML-1100 Series Mortise Lock and Pull System can be supplied with optional dual magnetic bond sensors to detect improper armature mating or lack of sufficient power to provide the unit's rated holding force.
