It is comprised of indestructible shrink disc, cylindrical adapter and support bushing, hollow shaft, and cover. Adapter bushing enables use of universally available bore diameters and hollow shaft dimensions. This enables gearbox hollow shaft to cover wider range of solid shaft diameters.

Rino Industries Ltd of Chesterfield, as Gerwah GmbH's UK distributor, is pleased to announce the launch of a new product line called Smart Lock Set.
The so-called Smart Lock Set does exactly what it says on the tin, in that it has been designed as a compact, easy to install and economical unit for hollow shaft connections. As a result of this, a considerably higher level of performance and safety has been achieved by using improved materials.
The Smart Lock Set consists of an indestructible shrink disc, a cylindrical adapter and support bushing, a hollow shaft and a cover. The adapter bushing enables the use of universally available bore diameters and hollow shaft dimensions. The number of spare parts is therefore reduced, resulting in visible cost savings, the company states. Smart Lock makes it possible to easily install and remove hollow shaft drives, even after extended periods of service time.
Now, a gearbox hollow shaft can cover a wider range of solid shaft diameters through the use of adapter bushings. Thanks to Smart Lock, separate solutions for different gearbox applications as well as expensive storing of spare parts for metric diameters should now be a thing of the past.
