Load Balancing

Server Load balancing is a technique, which distributes web-user queries to a server farm using various methods. Some of the key functions that a purpose-built balancer provides include high-availability, persistence, Layer 7 content switching and server/application health checking. In addition, terminating and accelerating SSL traffic is an important function that a server load balancer must provide.

Traditionally, server load balancing appliances have been very expensive to buy and maintain, and have been out of reach for most SMEs.

With the introduction of the LoadMaster, KEMP Technologies has removed high cost and added affordability.
