ClusterScale to Challenge the Load Balancer Market with Performance & Instant ROI Benefits
PORTSMOUTH, England, January 31 -- ClusterScale announces the launch today of two new load balancer products. Both the Pegasys and Nemasys models are built on Dell hardware platforms utilizing 64 bit architecture allowing companies to easily scale their application clusters using industry standard techniques.
With no artificial software licence restrictions a company can utilize the raw power and flexibility of the underlying Dell hardware for an unlimited number of clusters and real servers on day one.
The ClusterScale Load Balancers can be purchased with a customized CentOS
5 based platform or if prefered it can be purchased on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 platform combined with the excellent RedHat support packages.
Malcolm Turnbull, Founder and CEO said "The first system is a new evolved version of the Loadbalancer.org product - a standard load balancing appliance, with 64-bit hardware running a 64-bit OS. It's been tried and tested on many enterprise sites and we're also offering a hardware RAID option,"
"We're trying to compete with the best in the market, obviously on performance, price and also keeping the support local, with engineers on the end of the phone. We think some companies offer 101 functions that the majority of customers won't need," added Malcolm Turnbull.
