March 7, 2003 - Tough Little Centers (TLC) are offered in standard and extended-point models with shank sizes from 2MT–6MT. Short, thick point and oversized, double-row, angular-contact bearing provides rigidity. Needle roller bearing located within shank dampens vibration and reduces point deflection. Steel shield and neoprene seal protects bearing assembly from coolant and chips. Body and point are hardened and ground for wear resistance. Accuracy is guaranteed to within 0.0001 in. TIR.

New Line of Moderately Priced Live Centers Offfered by Royal Products
Royal Products is now offering a line of moderately priced live centers designed for manual and CNC turning applications. The American-made TLC, which stands for "Tough Little Center", is available in both standard and extended-point models with shank sizes ranging from 2MT-6MT.
The TLC achieves high load ratings and good rigidity through the use of a short thick point and an oversized double-row angular contact bearing. A needle roller bearing located within the shank provides additional rigidity, dampens vibration, and reduces point deflection. The TLC's body and point are hardened and ground for wear resistance and long life. Accuracy is guaranteed to be within 0.0001" TIR. A steel shield and neoprene seal protects the bearing assembly from coolant and chips.
