Lithium Primary Batteries Pack High Power Into Small Packages
A full line of standard and custom fabricated lithium batteries that are suitable for a wide range of military, medical, and industrial applications is being introduced by Aved Electronics, Inc. of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Aved Lithium Primary Batteries can be supplied individually or as custom fabricated battery packs from different lithium chemistries to match the energy density, discharge rate, and life requirements of the application. Specializing in selecting the proper cells for OEM customer requirements, including the physical package, wiring, and connector types, the firm ensures that all testing and shipping methods conform to UN3090.
Major chemistries that Aved Lithium Primary Batteries can be provided in include: lithium thionyl chloride (LiSOCl2) for high energy density and long life; lithium manganese dioxide (LiMnO2) for medical applications requiring a high discharge rate; and lithium sulfur dioxide (LISO2) for military applications requiring low self-discharge and high watt potential.
