"Extra Tall" Filler Accommodates Containers up to 81" Tall

June 24, 2008

A new liquid filler, designed for filling 5 to 500 gallon containers, has been introduced by Specialty Equipment of Houston, Texas.

This new sub-surface filling machine allows the filling lance to penetrate within 3" of the bottom of an 81" tall IBC. It also has a retractable bellows for drawing away toxic fumes. The tall filler uses two hydraulic cylinders to raise and lower the boom and lance carriage from drum height to IBC height to within 1" clearance above the container.

Standard construction material is all-welded structural steel. Components include an NTEP approved digital weight meter with easy-to-read display and operator-prompting, a 10,000lb capacity scale base with 4 load cells, a microprocessor controller, and a 250 product menu. Available options include powered conveyors; Kynar, PVC, Teflon, Hastelloy or heat-traced lances and valves; fume booths; lance flush adapters, bung and capping tools, sampling valves, and lance racks. The filler is also available in carbon or stainless steel.
