"On-the-Fly" Cleaning of Large Thermal Oil System with New Paratherm LC(TM) System Cleaner Liquid

Conshohocken, PA (February 17, 2004) - Large continuously operating hot oil systems can now be brought back to peak performance in minimal downtime without shutdown and overhaul. With the new Paratherm LC(TM) System Cleaner Liquid, accumulated sludge deposits are dissolved and suspended while the system continues to run.

Simply replace 10% of existing fluid with new LC liquid, install a 100-micron element in the sidestream filter (be sure to also remove screens from Y-strainers) and restart the system. After the LC liquid begins circulating and sludge deposits are loosened and released into the flow, filter elements should be progressively reduced over time to 50-micron and then to 25-micron. When circulation continues for a day without the need to change a 25-micron element, the system is ready to be drained and recharged with new Paratherm heat transfer fluid.

Because most thermal fluid systems over time experience sludge build up that reduces heat transfer and system efficiency, this product could revolutionize thermal fluid system maintenance.

The LC liquid is 100% compatible with any mineral oil-based fluid, and is now available from Paratherm Corporation of Conshohocken, PA. Founded in 1988, Paratherm has become a leading U.S. manufacturer of specialized heat transfer fluids.
