New Size 17 Miniature Linear Stepping Actuator
Gee Plus Inc. of Elgin, South Carolina, announces the new Size 17 (1.65 inch square) miniature stepping actuator composed of a hybrid step motor and an internal lead screw cut directly into the shaft. The Gee Plus DSM 4234H-C6231 stepping actuator posses an M5 X 2.0 lead pitch configuration that develops a linear force of 13.5 pounds (60 Newtons). The motor's front bearing is preloaded to ensure zero backlash performance under light loading conditions.
The Gee Plus DSM 4234H-C6231 step size is 0.4 micro-inches (10 micro-meters). Step motor size is 1.65 inches square by 1.34 inches long. The miniature stepping actuator is bipolar driven with an input phase current of 1.7 amps.
