Measuring 20 x 10 x 12 mm, open-frame Series C5 is available in magnetic-latching configuration rated for forces up to 3 lb, as well as standard on/off version rated for forces in excess of 3.5 lb. Magnetic-latching version is suited for very low duty cycle applications where solenoid needs to remain in energized position for extended periods of time. Series is suitable for battery-powered applications.

Miniature Open Frame Solenoids Can Operate with Maximum Forces in Excess of 3.5 Pounds
VANDALIA, OH - Saia-Burgess Inc. introduces C5 series miniature open frame linear solenoids. Approximately 20mm x 10mm x 12 mm, the C5 family is one of the smallest solenoids introduced to date by Saia-Burgess Inc. Available configurations include magnetic latching rated for forces up to 3 pounds, or a standard on/off version rated for use with forces in excess of 3.5 pounds.
Due to its small size and low power consumption, the C5 is ideally suited for battery-operated applications. The magnetic latching version is designed for very low duty cycle applications where the solenoid needs to remain in the energized position for extended periods of time.
