New Universal Gage Sensor

June 3, 2002 Addison, IL Ono Sokki Technology, Inc. introduces their model GS-251 linear gauge sensor.

This compact gauge sensor has standard AGD 2 dimensions, which makes it compatible to almost all existing fixtures.

This gage was designed to measure dimensions, thickness, curvature, eccentricity, displacement, height, depth, flatness, variation, runnout, roundness, distortion, deflection, and position.

This gage sensor uses the proven linear glass scale technology. The main advantage of this principle is that you can maintain high consistent accuracy throughout it's entire range.

The GS-251 produces highly accurate measurements to 0.0004", and through out it's full 25 mm measuring range.

The measuring force can be easily adjusted for a very light touch measurement. To be used in cases where the material is very fragile, soft and compressible or objects that can be easily surface marred, ie., mirror finish.

To add to this sensor's ruggedness, a waterproof seal was added to make it (resistance equivalent to IP-64). Also a dust bellow is provided for extra protection to enable accurate measurements in a harsher environment. Endurance testing shows this sensor may be used beyond 3 million strokes.

The GS-251 equipped with a 6 foot signal cable that can be directly used connected to an array of remote displays with various outputs, that are also compatible with virtually all the major SPC data acquisition systems on today's market. If you require more than the standard six-foot cable length, you may easily add on extension cables up to 100 feet.
