September 5, 2003 - Series PFA pneumatic, feedback cylinders contain internal Linear Resistive Transducers for accurate piston position sensing. Offered in bore sizes from 1 1/16 to 3 in. and strokes to 18 in., actuators are suited for piston speeds up to 50 ips. They can be used for applications where traditional magnetic position sensing is not acceptable, and where variations in cylinder stroke and speed are required.

New Position Feedback Cylinders
Fabco-Air, Inc. is introducing the PFA Series of economical
pneumatic linear actuators that contain internal Linear Resistive
Transducers (LRT) for extremely accurate piston position sensing. It is ideal for applications where traditional magnetic position sensing is not acceptable. Additionally, the PFA Series is a solution for applications where variations in cylinder stroke and speed are required or where an application calls for continuous position monitoring. Offered in bore sizes from 1-1/16" to 3" and strokes to 18", the actuators are designed for piston speeds up to 50 inches per second.
Digital displays include smart programmable meters and digital
bargraphs with fully programmable setpoints and optional relays for monitoring measurement and control applications.
